A silly team name that stuck...
GoalDiggers Netball Club was accidentally established in 2014. A gang of gals stuck together by chance in a social back-to-netball league, we rediscovered our passion for the sport and also got on like house on fire. Since then we've been recruiting like-minded netballers of all abilities to join the Digger ranks, and though members have come and gone, our friendships have lasted and our ethos and silly name have remained the same...
About Us
We play to win, but above all, play for fun.
A Digger knows that we play to be the best we can be and have a good time. We're nice to each other, to our umpires and our opponents - if you've got a bad attitude you can hit the kerb!
We're social.
GoalDiggers is a competitive but social club, and we like to make opportunities to hang out for those that have time. We organise a group trip to see top flight netball at least once a year and hold an annual Christmas get-together.
We're inclusive.
Whether you've been a Digger for five years or five minutes, we roll as a team. Everyone is invited to socials and get-togethers through our WhatsApp team groups.
